Where is the music going???

What up people I'm at my wits end with this music thing right now. Seems like its all about the money and the quick flip. There are very few artist out there today (in my opinion) who can actually demand the respect of the music industry these are just a few to start us off with:

JAY-Z - 

Yea my mans getting older but he has what i like to call "Grown man strength" hes been in the game so long that if anybody crosses him he can end them right then and there and thats just the fact of the matter. Not only is he a music ICON but he's a fucking business mogul to death man so for al u kids out there hatin on the jigga man you need to cut that shit out cause i bet he had a hand in the career of your favorite ARTIST not just rapper. 

Young Jeezy - 

Jeezy, in my opinion this dude is as real as they come, he has the real world experience in the drug game and he has lost many comrades to the bars and the earth but he'll tell you in a second thats how it was/is for him. His music speaks for itself, talking about the trap and providing his fellow thugs with something to nod their heads to when they pass the time blowin L's. Jeezy thanks for the honesty. 

Lady GAGA -

 Fuck yea i said it! Lady gaga you cant mention Billboard with out bringing up her name now. She has had 3 hit singles touch number 1. on the 16 year old billboard Top 40 list of of the SAME album, if u ask me (and u are since u r reading my blog) she is a G. Writing her hit songs "Just dance", "love game", and "Poker Face" which was sampled by kid kudi, Lady Ga Ga has earned every bit of recognition and stardom she has today. Most people wouldn't know that she has been writing songs for years and only now has she decided to thrust herself into the spot light. 

Next time I'll put you up on some new shit u need to be looking out for.

In the Beginning...

Greetings, My Name is Serious Black and I make up one third of the Hip=hop group called "The Classic". This blog isn't dedicated to the classic, it's dedication lies with the things I (Serious Black) think are relevant and some that are completely irrelevant. I'll also keep you posted on what's going on in my life (narcissistic i know) and hopefully it's interesting and helps prevent people from making the same dumb-ass mistakes I know I'm gonna make.

 Who is Serious Black?

Born William J. Glover, Serious Black is the personification of the thought process I live by. Trying to always remind people that having goals that seem larger than life generally only require determination, dedication, hard work, and often times tough skin to live said dream. As an emerging artist I am confident in saying that I am good at what I do and when I am rewarded for my talents I know I will deserve every bit of it (all you people who think I'm blowing smoke up my own ass can go suck a dick, it's ok to be confident in knowing what you get for what you give (and if you dont understand that stop smokin so much god damn weed)) ANYWAY where was I? Oh, I want People to stop being so modest and "correct", I want people to really be themselves. I know if anyone is reading this that there is someone saying "Pshh im like always myself" bull shit u fake it sometimes, EVERYONE does and if they deny it they are lying simple and plain and I'll be the first to say I do it too. I'm as honest as I can possibly be, not because It's the right thing to do but because peoples reactions to the truth are far more interesting than telling a lie...even if its a small one.
